Memorial day / long weekend

Today is memorial day! I would like to thank all the service men & women for everything they do & remember the ones that are no longer with us. Warriors Weekend is a way that our town helps out injured soldiers by taken them fishing, building homes for them and many other things. One of our local churches let the community use their property for the Field of Honor. You can buy a flag in honor or memory of a loved one. I did just that I brought a flag in memory of my dad, who we lost 10months ago to a heart attack. My dad was in the Navy.He was on the ship USS Enterprise. He was also a post commander in Corpus Christi, Texas at the VFW!

Bryan was off today because of memorial day, he went to the store this am for gas for lawn mower and our friends dad who is a volunteer firefighter was at the store giving out little flag. Bryan got two for the boys and we put Jackson's at the end of the road and Parker wanted to try to eat his.Bryan mowed the yard while the boys were swimming. While Bryan was mowing backyard and kids were in the house( napping/ watching tv) we saw a HUGE rat in our yard half the size of my dog!!!! I wanted to scream. That's the biggest rat I've ever seen...I told Bryan we need a cat now that lives outside to fix that problem.... We also got ole yeller home yesterday. Bryan has a 63 ford f-100 he's going to start to restore. Tonight we got the seat out and cleaned out inside of truck....
We also went to Seadrift last night and ate dinner then went to my cousins house in Poc

Happy Easter..

We decided to have easter at our house again this year because
Easter weekend of 2010 was the last time i saw my dad before he passed away and i didnt want to go anywhere. I just wanted to be home and remember what easter was all about.We invited my mom and Bryan's parents over for lunch. My cousin Jennifer and her girls also came out.. The kids had a blast they got to hunt eggs and play outside with their cousin avery. Parker wasnt really sure what to think about the eggs or even what to do with them. Parker would pick them up and then through them back down.Jackson & Avery knew what they were doing and they were racing to see who could get the most eggs. We also took a few pics in the tree in our front yard. Jackson wanted to climb in the tree and my mom helped him get up in the tree so i could take a picture of him. Parker didnt want to sit in the tree for any more pictures he was born.. Hope everyone had a great easter. We love you and miss you daddy..

people come into your life for a reason

I think people come into your life for a reason, whether it's a good thing or a bad thing! Well I'm writing this because I truly believe I meet Lori for a reason.

A few months ago I started working on my Coupon Cutie fan page and blog. I was really excited when I got new followers and comments on my blogs. Knowing someone was reading what i posted made me very happy. Im hoping to help people learn to save money with coupons.
There was on follower who stuck out to me "chronicles of a crazy mom" I loved the name because who as a parents hasn't wanted to go crazy a time or two? We started to email back and forth, getting to know each other.. We are so alike it's "crazy" I've learned she has 3 kids. 2 boys & 1 girl! I also thought that it's alittle odd that her youngest sons name is PARKER! :) We have had to go through alot of
The same-things in our lifes. Texting and emailing is our adult Conversation because with her having 3 kids and me w 2. Talking on the phone is very unlikely... We both enjoy blogging and Couponing to save our families money!!!

Houston Aquarium 4/12/2011

Bryan & I surpirsed the boys with a trip to Houston Aquarium. Jackson was so excited when we got there he could hardley stand having to wait to get out of the car.. So we loaded up the strollers and we were off. When we first got there we were hoping Jackson would stay in his stroller, haha thats so funny that didnt happen...The first thing we got to see was a huge fish tank, jackson wanted to know how he could feed the fish.. our answer was he couldnt feed them because the workers there can only feed them. So we started going through the aquarium and we came to a room where a huge ship will was and he thought he was really driving the ship.. i think that was hes favorite part. Here are a few pictures below of the inside of the aquarium. They had all kinds of animals..

Trip to Yorktown........

We went to Yorktown to pick up Bryan's sheep head from his hunt to rock springs.. To the thompson temple ranch. So as we were leaving I asked bryan to go look for the Hospital..Yes i said the yorktown hospital. Ive always wanted to see what everyone is talking about so we drive alittle ways and found it. I took pictures of the outside because i couldnt get inside :( i reall would like to go inside but getting to take pictures of it was cool for me.. here are some pics i took..

Airplane Show

Airplane show at the airport Bryan and I decided to take the boys to see all of the airplanes. People from all over bring their own personal plans. There were war planes, regular planes and even airforce plans... The one that was my favorite was betty jane. Jackson was so excited because we were able to walk through some of the plans. He wanted to go through each plane 100 times if we would let him.. he also got to sit in a single engine plane they use to teach flying lessons...He really likes airplanes and ever since we went he wants to know when the airplanes will be back so he can go and see them again..
